Setup & use

How do you install the Waste Drawer Liner in Litter-Robot?

Simply open a new liner and wrap the edges over the rim of the waste drawer. Push the remainder of the bag into the bottom of the waste drawer and then slide the waste drawer closed. Don’t forget to zero the weight sensors: In Litter-Robot 4, short-press the Reset button; in Litter-Robot 5 or Litter-Robot EVO, press and hold the Cancel button for 3 seconds. How often do I need to replace the Litter-Robot Waste Drawer Liner?

Replace the liner whenever you need to empty the waste drawer. That'll depend on the number and size of your cats. For two average-sized cats, twice per week is typical. For a single cat, once per week should be fine.
Can I use any type of bag in the waste drawer?

Yes, you can use any bag that fits in the waste drawer. However, please note that waste level readings may be inaccurate when using a dark bag, especially when the drawer is empty. As clumps start to collect in the drawer, the readings will become more accurate. For the most precise waste drawer readings and a seamless experience, we highly recommend using Litter-Robot Waste Drawer Liners.

Do the Waste Drawer Liners work with any Litter-Robot model?

Yes! The liners fit perfectly in the waste drawer of any Litter-Robot 5/Pro, Litter-Robot EVO, Litter-Robot 4, Litter-Robot 3 (with or without Connect), or Litter-Robot 2.
What are the Waste Drawer Liners made of?

Material composition is as follows: 84% LLDPE, 15% Medium-Density Polyethylene (MDPE), 11% Masterbatch (pigments/additives).
